Thanks for visiting the Between Planes website. Our band consists of Janel Nelson (vocals, keyboard, ocarina, synthesized bass), Ron Holm (vocals, guitar, harmonica, synthesized bass), John Bishoff (solo guitar and vocals), and Ken Druetzler (drums and vocals). Janel and Ron perform as an extreme Americana duo in smaller venues. As 'Emery's Blues Boys,' John and Ron perform revved-up rockabilly and roots music. Sometimes our pal D K Kolars joins us on dobro, laptop steel, standard guitars, and vocals. Roy Orbison created one of our favorite musical styles --- such a favorite that we developed our 'In Dreams' retrospective of Roy's music and the music that influenced him.
